Geode State Park

To close our 2016 camping year, we went to Geode State Park in Danville.  My dad and his dog, Buddy met us and we spent the entire weekend in slow motion, just what we needed after our last one...

This trip Ty and I kept tell each other, "now this is what I remember about camping when I was little".  There were two parks and one of them was close enough that the two bigger kids could walk/ride their bike there by themselves.  The park was massive (over 150 campsites), so the park didn't seem busy and there was lots of open area for the kids to ride their bikes with us watching from afar.    

Like I said.  Just a nice uneventful camping experience... :)
