Thanksgiving was the last time Tyler was willing to travel before Baby Ghandi makes their grand entrance in the world, so we tried to make the most of it and see a lot of people. And we didn't mess around-- over 700 miles traveled and we slept at 3 different houses.
Wednesday we packed
Thursday morning we headed even farther West to Carroll to have Thanksgiving lunch with my mom's family. The entertainment for the day was definitely Miles and Harper. So much so no one captured any pictures of the day.
Friday morning we headed over to Nick's house where we had Thanksgiving dinner with my dad. Nick smoked a turkey all day and we once again ate way too much. I had promised Harper that if she took a nap, she could build a snowman when she woke up. Turns out she slept a really long time and the weather had gotten really warm while she was sleeping and there wasn't much snow to work with when she woke. Miles thought he wanted in on the action, but really just wanted to walk around.
The rest of the day was spent eating, singing "Let it Go" from frozen, dressing up and playing with Frozen dolls.
Saturday Harper and I headed back West for my cousin's baby shower. Harper had this huge perma-grin on her face all day. She was so excited to have a girls day! Somehow we convinced her to take a nap on the way there:
two of my favorite Gingers
Grandma with her two pregnant Granddaughters
Less than two weeks apart!
Seriously, she looks so peaceful! :)
whew. Glad that Thanksgiving is over so it can slow down a little bit, but I know things are just about to get permanently CRAZY...
