We decided to pick #14 on our list off 100 to eat, since it was the 14th we were celebrating. However, once we saw the location and did a quick review of their menu we knew we wouldn't be able to go a resturant that served sushi {thanks to my "condition", seriously...a life saver--I hate Sushi}. So we decided to double the number and cross #28 {Georgioz}off our list.
This was a little pizza and sandwich joint in Colfax, IA. It was a little jaunt to get to and then it was PACKED. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes to get a table {the cheesy garlic bread made up for the incredibly looooong wait}. I must say Harper did really well waiting that long.
We ordered two mini pizzas that we split--the House Special {which had every kind of meat known to mankind} and Cheeseburger Pizza {topped with pickles and it was delish!}.Ultimately we were impressed by the food, but surprised it was that high on the list. There wasn't anything extradiorary about the food. The town of Colfax must have joined forces and had everyone and their grandma vote to get this place on the books.
| Our little Valentine's Date night. {Harper's new thing is to walk everywhere and she thinks she is such a BIG DEAL when she's able to} |
