A Happe Weekend

This past weekend some of our favorite people in the world came to visit us.  I don't have much to document their trip other than a couple crummy IPhone photos and a ton of chip crumbs on the basement floor... :)

Saturday we attempted to watch the Iowa game in between naps, feeding kids, and keeping their heads from bouncing off the cement floor... After the game we were able to play outside and enjoy the nice fall day.

The night ended with sippy cups and snacks around the table {much like it's always been when the Happe's & DeMaris' get together}. Makes my heart happy to see another generation of great friends forming....

Not sure on Harper and Hayden's face...the conversation must be riveting...

We are always so glad for visitors and especially loved catching up with old friends.

And I'll leave you with a few quotable quotes from Harper:

Harper: "Mom, did you know me and Hayden are cousins?"

Me: "No, you're not"

Harper: "Well, we're in love and he's my husband and we love each other very much"

After they had left to go home:
Harper: "MOM! I had so much fun with Hayden and baby Carson is sooooo cute.  Can we keep him forever?"

Carson left his blankets at our house so yesterday we had to mail them back to him.  While at the post office shoving blankets into the box, Harper said, "Mom! I must send my cousin (she interchanges husband and cousin) this leaf so he will have it until he comes back"
